How Aatm-nirbhar Bharat is going to Affect India ??

Self – Reliant India, is a praiseworthy approach to fulfilling our own needs on our own.

In this decade, we have exported materials of around 300 Billion Dollars on average, while we import around 450 Billion Dollars. Thus, the trade deficit is -150 billion dollars, a significant amount of our economy is being exchanged for materials which can also be remarked as burning a hole in our pocket.

Let me explain the dire need with two practical examples:

1.     During the Pandemic, we were facing a deficiency of Hospital beds, PPE kits, Covid test kits, medicines, ventilators and other necessary respiratory and medical equipment including basic supplies of hand sanitisers, N95 Masks.

So, what steps we took?

Resilient India made enough PPE Kits, N95, and other essentials that it changed its position from the consumer to producer.

Furthermore, we went ahead and made our own vaccine, exported it, made it globally recognized even when there were variants, who were making some prominent vaccination useless, ours is effective to this day.

2.     Since, we have already understood India’s situation to the contemporary. Now, let us observe the same through a Country’s example i.e. our special friend the obvious “RUSSIA”.

After the invasion of Crimea, in 2014. Russia knew that it would be imposed with multiple sanctions. So, they started making a lot of provision inside their own country, apart from it they began their export-import more with east and declined there dependence over the west. Moreover after this “Swift sanction”. This, Russia went ahead and said that they are going to introduce their own banking tech. “A splendid optimism”.

Now, we can observe how much of the need of the hour “THE AATM-NIRBHAR BHARAT” is. This mission was started by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 13th May 2020, during this catastrophe.

It has five pillars to support the “emergence”:

·        Economy

·        Infrastructure

·        System

·        Vibrant Demography and

·        Demand

And according to the plans, we are doing this in five phases:

Phase-I: Businesses including MSMEs

Phase-II: Poor, including migrants and farmers

Phase-III: Agriculture

Phase-IV: New Horizons of Growth

Phase-V: Government Reforms and Enablers

As we are moving towards a conclusion which is pretty challenging to say as this brainstorming concept is still in progression. So, we can only observe the things that we have done and what fruits can it bear. In the end, as you could have noticed from the above given example, we will be able to see the outcomes in the forthcoming future.
